MSBOA's Recommended Guidelines for COVID Mitigation at all MSBOA Activities

(Click on Title Above to View)

These guidelines are based on the scientific findings of a study commissioned by an international coalition of performing arts organizations conducted by the University of Colorado.  If you have the time, you might be interested in watching the video (embedded below) of a conversation that recently took place between Dr. Weaver (NFHS), Dr. Mark Spede (CBDNA/Clemson), and Bob Morrison (Arts Ed New Jersey) detailing specific mitigation techniques for each of the performing arts disciplines.

One of the most important concepts coming out of the study was that in order for mitigation to be effective, it must be a multi-layered approach (multiple mitigation techniques used simultaneously).

We fully understand different areas of the state have differing levels of infection and vastly different political viewpoints that can affect the way in which we proceed.  But it is our hope that these recommended guidelines may be of some help as you navigate through a very difficult time.

As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns,
