Steven Estrella (steve@stevenestrella.com) earned a Ph.D. in music education from Temple University, a Master of Arts degree in music composition from Claremont Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Psychology from Eckerd College. For ten years, Dr. Estrella served as Assistant Professor of Music Education and Director of Computer/Media Services for Temple University's Boyer College of Music. He served from 2001-2004 as Vice-President of the Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME). He makes his living running StevenEstrella.com, part of Shearspire, Inc., providing Web and media development services to clients in publishing, music education, and music industry. His media works include the multimedia companion for Music: An Appreciation by Roger Kamien and the online learning center for Music First by Gary White. He has authored two textbooks on computer programming for Addison-Wesley, The Web Wizard’s Guide to JavaScript and The Web Wizard’s Guide to DHTML and CSS. He has recently authored the 11th edition of Study Outline and Workbook in the Fundamentals of Music for McGraw-Hill for which he also prepared the online learning center.

Tom Court (aa6520@wayne.edu) is co-director of music technology at Wayne State University. He is the founder of "DATAtunes Publishing & Research" (1976), Mr. Court has been active in sound design/music production since 1974 and in sound design education since 1998.

George Hess (George.Hess@cmich.edu) is Professor of Music Technology at Central Michigan University, where he teaches courses in technology, jazz and theory and directs eBand, an all-alternate controller ensemble. George is also the Technology track coordinator for the International Association for Jazz Education and serves on the IAJE resource team.

Michael Lamb (michaell@soundtree.com) is the National Accounts Manager with SoundTree, a division of Korg USA specializing in music technology services for education.  His responsibilities include educational training and support for K-12 and higher education. He travels extensively in the United States as a learning system consultant and clinician, applying music technology in the arts in education.

Mike Lorenz (mlorenz@sienahts.edu) is Professor of Music at Siena Heights University where he delivers classes in jazz improvisation, music theory and audio recording. He can often be seen at Murphy's Place in Toledo as the pianist for the Murphy's Place Jazz Orchestra.

Joe Martin (martinj@ndprep.org) is the director of bands at Notre  Dame Preparatory High School and Marist Academy Middle School in Pontiac, Michigan.  He is in his seventh year with NDP/Marist and in his 11th year of teaching.

Raymond Riley (rileyr@alma.edu) is professor of music at Alma College. He teaches courses in MIDI composition, digital recording techniques, and multimedia development. He is a frequent presenter and clinician for technology conferences and workshops.

Alex Ruthmann (saruthma@oakland.edu) teaches middle school general music at Cranbrook Schools, and is a Special Lecturer in music education and Coordinator of Music Technology at Oakland University. He serves as a contributing author to the new Scott Foresman/Silver Burdett "Making Music" textbook series and Glencoe/McGraw-Hill's high school music text "Music! Its role and importance in our lives."

Bobbie Thornton (bobbiet@soundtree.com) is the Central Accounts Manager for SoundTree.   She has held numerous training sessions at elementary and high schools, universities and for TI:ME, and has served as a clinician for ACDA, IAJE, MENC, CMS, as well as many of the central state music education conferences. As a performing musician, she uses MIDI technology to augment live performance. 

Peter Workman (Peter_Workman@Lentine.com) is Lentine's Director of Music Education Technology. Peter has considerable practical knowledge of most aspects of music education technology (including the latest software for Mac and PC) and significant experience as a working musician and engineer. He has designed and installed systems in schools throughout America.
